The Charity comprises four key departments, covering a range of expertise. Many of our staff work from the Charity's main office in High Wycombe or from Edinburgh.
Sarah joined the Charity in 2005 from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman’s office, where she worked closely at the heart of government to influence policy making. In her five years at the Charity she has overseen a growth in the provision of services for Members, the largest research programme undertaken by the Charity and campaigning successes such as the first ever government guideline on diagnosis of the condition. In 2007 she worked with the Board to lead the Charity through the introduction of membershipIf you have been diagnosed with coeliac disease then you can become a Member of Coeliac UK.

She lives in Oxford with her partner and three children.
Norma is a Registered DietitianAn expert in food and nutrition.
with twenty years experience of working in the health service and fifteen years in the voluntary sector. She has been working at Coeliac UK since 2003 and in the past headed a team at Diabetes UK. Norma heads the Diet and Health team responsible for answering Member enquiries on coeliac diseaseA condition where a person is unable to eat gluten as it makes their body attack itself.

Lisa has worked in the voluntary sector for seven years and joined Coeliac UK in 2007 after managing the Fundraising Team at the Lymphoma Association. Lisa heads up the Membership Services and Income Generation team that is responsible for securing income from a variety of different channels. This includes commercial partners, fundraising events, charitable trusts, grant givers and of course the generous support from our Members. The Team is also responsible for continuing to improve and develop the service provision we offer for our Members and has been involved in successfully implementing a Membership scheme to the Charity in 2008.
Caroline has an extensive career in Finance at senior management positions. Her last permanent position was heading up the Tsunami Fund at Oxfam before moving to establish her own finance and management consultancy. Caroline is covering the maternity leave of Penny Edwards on a part-time basis.
