Coeliac UK is the national charity for people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis.

Coeliac UK represents nearly 60,000 Members by providing information and support to those medically diagnosed with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis.  It also campaigns on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertakes research into the causes of the disease.  We are not government funded and the main source of our income comes from those individuals who benefit from our services – our Members and other individuals who wish to follow a gluten-free diet.

Healthcare Policy Lead (12-month maternity cover)  ca. £25-£30K p.a., based in High Wycombe

The Charity has established itself as a key stakeholderA person, group, system or organisation who affects or can be affected by an organisations actions. at national level and an important part of this role will involve monitoring developments within the new NHSNational Health Service. Health Service experience would be valuable. This role will also focus on developing the Coeliac UK health agenda, working with the NHS, healthcare professionals and healthcare bodies.Directly reporting to the Research Manager in the policy team, you will help to develop the Charity’s evidence base and promote the work of the Charity within the healthcare sector and to healthcare professionals, You will also be involved in drafting policy positions to inform health campaigns.
