Annual General Meeting2008 Annual General MeetingOur Annual General Meeting, held on 5 July at Glamorgan Cricket, Cardiff, was a great day out for all the family. Nearly 1000 people attended the day, with Members bringing family and friends to enjoy the food fair and gluten-free offerings. The day was an informative one with well attended sessions for newly-diagnosed Members, dietetic clinics, an "ask the experts" panel and a very well received talk from local doctor, Jill Swift. The dietetic clinics were a real success and we held two sessions of these in line with Member feedback from the previous year's AGM. The Annual General Meeting took place in the afternoon and Elise Millington was re-elected and Jacqui Smith and Paul Duell were elected as governors for Coeliac UK. Rosemary Hoyle stood down as Chair but will continue in her role as a Governor for a further year. Tony Grace will succeed Rosemary as Chair of the Board of Governors. The day went well and we would like to say thank you to the volunteers of the local Group who helped out on the day.
