"The embarrassment and difficulties with eating out and dining with friends can be problematic. Difficulties aside, I have always enjoyed my food! The repetition of having to explain the problem to others continually to others is very frustrating; even to friends who have already tried to be helpful!  Coeliac diseaseA condition where a person is unable to eat gluten as it makes their body attack itself. also does have an effect on one's partner in life."
