Are there other tests for coeliac disease?

There are many different types of alternative tests that claim to diagnose food related 'problems, allergies or intolerances'.

Here are a few examples of such tests: 

• Applied Kinesiology
• Hair Analysis
• IgG gliadin antibody tests
• Leukocytotoxic tests
• Vega Testing

These tests are not regarded as accurate or reliable and do not diagnose coeliac disease.

 If you think you may have coeliac disease, you should continue to eat gluten and discuss getting tested for coeliac disease with your GP.
