Coeliac UK wins bid for research grant

Coeliac UK was part of a successful bid to receive a £500,000 grant from the Health Foundation. This will be used to look at developing best practice in primary care and transfer to secondary care for dealing with coeliac disease, IBS, IBD, and GORD. Coeliac UK was part of a joint-bid which included King's College, London; the Primary Care Steering Group (PCSG); CORE (the Digestive Disorders Foundation) and the National Council for Colitis and Crohn's Disease (NACC). The bid is for a 3 year research programme.
