We have had quite an eventful year so far with three Group Meetings and many Glutton Club meals, a very successful trip out to Glebe Farm for the volunteers and a profitable day at the Meadows Centre 14th Birthday Party.

Our next Group Meeting will be on Sat 10th Sept 2011 at The Buchan Centre as usual. Prior to the meeting we will be having Bangers and Mash for lunch from 1.30pm to 2.30pm after which the normal meeting will commence.

Please Note if you wish to part-take in the Bangers and Mash Lunch you need to pre-book and pay in full for your lunches before the meeting  (£5/adult and £2.50/under 15s). You need to do this ASAP and before the 8th Sept 2011.

We will also be having the following items on the day:

• Juvela will be demonstrating some recipes from their book so there will be NO Kids Cookery Corner

• Louise Fox from the National OsteoporosisA condition where your bones lose bone mass and become brittle. Society will be coming to give a talk

• Raffle tickets - with loads of prizes

• Bring & Buy table bring items to sell and donate money to the group (please take back any unsold items we do not have any storage facility).

• Tasting Table - please bring along something, preferably savoury

• Bring some money and your cooler bags as Pepperell’s Meats Ltd will be coming along again with products for you to try and buy (they are also providing some of the sausages for the lunch)

So the next big event after this meeting will be our second Food Fayre at the Meadows Centre on Sat 3rd Dec 2011 from 11.30am to 2.30pm. We are hoping this year the weather will be good and not cause any chaos as it did last year.

We hope you all support us in our efforts in staging this event and please do spread the word about our Food Fayre with everyone you know. We will need much help as we did last year so do your bit and let us know if you can help (call: Mrs Rachel Moss 01353 741 709) or email me on Cambridge@coeliac.org.uk.

To end the year we have organised a fanastic 3 course Christmas Supper at Madingley Hall on Monday 5th Dec 2011 for £28 per person (you can download the menu on the booking form on the Related Downloads link) or click on the following link:
