Kick off the New Year to a healthier start. There's no better incentive than running for charity. There are hundreds of events in 2008 in which you can participate, from 10K runs, to half or full marathons. Whether you secure your place through us, or independently, we will support you along the way with our Fundraising Pack, which includes top tips from former Olympic runner, Yvonne Murray. A Coeliac UK running vest and your very own secure, online fundraising page to email all your friends and family.

Flora London Marathon - 13th April 2008 - Our places in the London Marathon are now full. If you or someone you know has secured a place independently, then we would like you to run for us.

The Great Edinburgh Run - 4th May 2008 - The spectacular 10k Edinburgh route takes runners past some key city sites including Holyrood Park, the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Mile. The event has been voted Scotland’s number one road race by readers of Runners World. This is the first time Coeliac UK has places in this 10K, so join the Team to make it a success.

The Great Manchester Run - 18th May 2008 - In the five years since its first staging the BUPA Great Manchester Run is now recognised as one of the World's premier 10k running event.

London 10K -
6th July 2008 - London's ever growing 10K Run is back, run through the heart of London starting at Hyde Park corner and finishing at Whitehall.

Bristol Half Marathon -14th September 2008 - One of the UK's leading road races and in recent years has become one of the largest and most popular half marathons in the country. The race was first held in 1989 when it attracted 1,000 runners. By 2006 this had grown to 15,000 and places were all taken up in a record breaking 6 weeks.

National Park Half Marathon - 12th October 2008 - The Royal Parks Foundation is launching central London’s first ever half marathon on 12th October – starting and ending in Hyde Park. 12,500 runners will race through four Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.

The Great South Run - 26th October 2008 - Following another hugely successful Great South Run, the organiser will be staging this fantastic 10 mile run again in October. It's open to runners of all abilities who are 15 years or older.
