There are a number of ways to choose safe foods including:

  • Reading labels: You can tell if a food is suitable for you by reading the label.  In our Reading labels section we explain what you need to look out for.
  • Food and Drink DirectoryOur annual Directory of gluten-free food and drink which manufacturers voluntarily submit to. : Our Food and Drink Directory lists foods which are suitable for you and can be useful if you are newly diagnosed or are not very confident in reading labels.
  • Crossed Grain symbolOur licensed symbol which manufacturers buy to display on gluten-free food. : Our Crossed Grain symbol is used by some manufacturers to highlight that a product is suitable.
