We produce a wide range of information booklets for people with coeliac diseaseA condition where a person is unable to eat gluten as it makes their body attack itself. . Members receive the appropriate booklet when they join Coeliac UK and can order others as and when needed.
Patients should be guided to the most appropriate resource during different stages of living with coeliac disease.

Specifically aimed at children under seven with coeliac disease, this booklet contains an easy to read story with colourful illustrations to help children understand why they are feeling poorly, what will happen through diagnosis and how eating gluten affects them.
A template letter to write to school is also available.

Our online venue guide lists over 1700 venues who cater for people with coeliac disease and are recommended by our Members for our Members. Coeliac UK have not vetted the venues - we ask Members to let us know if a venue no longer caters for people with coeliac disease. People should still phone ahead and mention their dietary requirements, and again on arrival.

Our quarterly electronic newsletter Professional eXG is an easy way to keep yourself updated with the latest news, research findings, project updates and upcoming events in relation to coeliac disease. In addition to the work you already do to support people with coeliac disease, there are many ways in which you can get involved with the Coeliac UK to further support the work of the Charity and its Members.
Coeliac UK is lucky to have over 90 Local Voluntary Support Groups around the UK which are run by dedicated volunteers. They are an invaluable source of local advice for those newly diagnosed with coeliac disease and are always looking for HCPs to support their work.
Each year Coeliac UK runs a national initiative to raise awareness about living with coeliac disease. You can find details about Awareness Week in our Get Involved section.
You can raise important funds to support the work of Coeliac UK by taking part in one of our fundraising challenges – either on your own or as a team. Our Fundraising Team can support you every step of the way.
