The Gluten-free Chef of the Year competition is part of the Eating Out campaign through which we aim to raise awareness of coeliac diseaseA condition where a person is unable to eat gluten as it makes their body attack itself.
and the gluten-free diet amongst chefs and catering students. By asking people to enter the competition and devise a gluten-free menu we’re spreading the gluten-free message and, hopefully, all entrants and winners will continue to be passionate about providing gluten-free options on their menus throughout their careers.
