Once again Coeliac UK are working in partnership with the organisers of The Allergy Food allergies happen when the body's immune system reacts to food seconds after eating it. Tiny amounts can cause potentially life threatening reactions. Coeliac disease is not an allergy to wheat or gluten. & GlutenA protein that is found in the cereals wheat, barley and rye. Free Show 2011 (taking place at London’s Olympia from 6 – 8 May, www.allergyshow.co.uk), in order to ensure the event provides people with coeliac diseaseA condition where a person is unable to eat gluten as it makes their body attack itself. with the best possible information and advice.

In their debut year in 2010, the show’s new organisers increased visitor numbers by 100% to over 8,000, and raised exhibitor numbers by 40%.  Collectively, 2010’s visitors spend over £5.9 million annually on their conditions.
