We have started work on the 2011 Food and Drink DirectoryOur annual Directory of gluten-free food and drink which manufacturers voluntarily submit to. . We have developed a new online tool for manufacturers and retailers who submit product lists for the Directory. This interactive questionnaire will provide manufacturers with a step-by-step guide to listing products based on the ingredients, production facility, glutenA protein that is found in the cereals wheat, barley and rye. status and testing protocol. The tool gives assurance and justification for these 2 separate sections introduced in the 2010 Directory:

We are following the same format for the 2011 Directory. To initiate the new tool, Coeliac UK will be hosting a Food and Drink Directory 2011 launch event on 9 September, 2010 in London. This event aims to inform you of the new listing process as well as create an open forum for discussion about the gluten-free regulation and opportunity to develop business contacts.
