News reports on coeliac disease vaccine research

BBC News and the Daily Mail have reported on research into the causes of coeliac disease.

The research, led by Professor Bob Anderson in Melbourne, Australia, has found the areas of gluten which make it poisonous to people with coeliac disease.

The research, which is co funded by Coeliac UK, is an important step towards finding a vaccine for coeliac disease. Developing a cure will be many, many years in development, but this recent finding is an important step towards it.
