Precautionary Allergen Labelling: The “may contain” consultation open now

4 January 2022

Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL), or “may contain” statements can be frustrating. It’s an area that can be difficult to understand and we know causes confusion for some of our community. But the good news is that the Food Standards Agency (FSA) have opened a public consultation about it, the FSA need to hear from you, so please share your views here.

We’ve also been invited to respond and represent the gluten free community, so this is a great opportunity to make your views heard! We want to hear from you if you follow a gluten free diet (or are a parent or carer for someone who does). So join us at one of our Zoom sessions and share your opinion.
