Working to improve access to gluten free foods

During the current Covid-19 pandemic many of you have expressed your concerns on our social media network and in calls to our Helpline, regarding access to gluten free food.

To better understand the issues faced by the gluten free community as a whole, we carried out a survey, which thousands of you completed. Thank you so much for your support. This gives us data which we can use to try and get a better deal for you in the current crisis, including retailers, manufacturers and the Government department responsible for food, including emergency food parcels.

Anyone who left contact details for us to get in touch should soon receive a telephone call with further support or an email linking them to this webpage with further information.

Advice on what support is available for you, including registering as extremely vulnerable, gaining access to an emergency food parcel, access to free school meals, depends on where you live. Please visit the web page for your area:

Eating out post lockdown: As many food businesses prepare to reopen, we've been contacting our GF Accredited partners to ensure that you can still find gluten free food on the menu. We've helped each business to carry out a Post Lockdown & Kitchen Safety Checklist to support staff as they adapt to a new working environment.
