Chocolate brownies

  • 50 gm good quality gluten free chocolate
  • 100 gm butter
  • 20 gm caster sugar
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 75 gm ground almonds
  • 110 gm chopped walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon gluten free baking powder
  1. Pre heat oven to 180c/350F/gas 4
  2. Line and grease a 9 inch (23 cms) tin (one with a loose bottom if possible).
  3. Melt chocolate
  4. Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate and beat
  5. Stir in rest of the ingredients
  6. Spread mixture in tin
  7. Bake for 30/35 minutes
  8. Leave to cool before cutting
