Coeliac - Somerset

AGM 2018

Thank you to everyone who attended our first AGM in May.

The minutes from the meeting are now available from our website for you to read.

Cream Tea

Would you like a gluten free cream tea? We are meeting at The Mill, Bishops Lydeard on Sunday 16th September.

It is £7 per head for a tour of The Mill and its attractions, a talk about the mill and a discount for the cream tea.

You could just have a cream tea if you do not want to visit the attractions.

This will need to be collected by Liz (our Treasurer) on the day before entry and will need to be in cash.  Sorry no cards are accepted.

We can meet from 1.45 pm to allow monies to be collected, and to have a cream tea from 2 pm.

Limited parking is available at The Mill with other parking nearby.

There is disabled access.

Numbers are limited to 20 on a first come, first served basis.

We may need to split into two parties, one being shown around the attractions and one to have a cream tea.

Please can you email us at somerset@coeliac.org.uk to let us know if you are able to come to this event, so we can ensure your place.

John's running in the Great North Run

John Mitchell lives in Glastonbury and started running this year at the age of 73.  On his bucket list is the Great North Run (the world's largest half marathon) and next month he'll be running it to raise funds for Coeliac UK - so far he's got just over £500.

Details of his coeliac story and running progress to date (together with an opportunity to donate) can be found on his Just Giving page

Good luck John!
