Coffee morning postponed to June

This month's coffee morning has been postponed by a couple of weeks to Wednesday 4 June. Apologies for the short notice.

As usual, you are welcome to join fellow coeliacs from the North Hampshire area at Waitrose café in Basingstoke (RG21 4YY) on Wednesday 4 June from 10:30-12:00. If you haven't joined us before, at least one member from our committee will be there wearing their orange Coeliac UK top to help you spot them.

There is a large car park, at the rear with free parking for the first two hours (though you must still get a ticket from the machines). Basingstoke Railway station is a five-minute walk away.

Lunch & optional 3 mile walk

On Saturday 14th June we are proposing to organise a lunch at the Mill House in North Warnborough, Odiham, Hampshire RG29 1ET starting at midday.

The Mill House belongs to the Brunning and Price chain which offers an extensive gluten free menu and has Coeliac UK accreditation. More details can be found on the link. https://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/millhouse/

After lunch, for those of you who are still feeling energetic, we are planning to do a gentle 3 mile circular walk starting at the pub which will take us along the canal path and give us the opportunity to visit St John’s Castle. Details of the route can be found on the Mill House website.

Family softplay meet up - sign up now

Farnborough 360

We shall be meeting up at Farnborough 360 at 2-4pm to let the children play whilst the adults take the opportunity to chat to other families and share experiences.

Farnborough 360 offer some gluten free food in case you would like to have a nibble whilst you're there (e.g. cake, chips, jacket potatoes and gf pasta).

Family picnic and play - date for your diary

Eastrop Park

We shall be meeting up at Eastrop Park at 11am where the children can play in the paddling pool, play team games on the grassy area or play in the playpark. Bring a picnic and feel free to bring extra gluten free treats to share. The park is located in the centre of Basingstoke, a short walk from Festival Place shopping centre and the railway station.
