October 2025 - November & December events

Coeliac

North Hampshire events in November and December

2025 has flown by and somehow we are already into late October!  If you would like to meet up with fellow members of our North Hampshire Coeliac UK Local Group before the end of the year then we have lots in store for you!

Read on for details all our events taking place for the rest of the year.  If you would like to attend any of these events, please make sure you sign up asap (particularly for our two Christmas events) before spaces run out.

Please note that our family Christmas event on 29 November is taking place at a different time to previously advertised, as we are now holding it during the public session earlier in the day, as sadly we didn't have enough volunteers to help organise the exclusive hire event later in the day. For those who sign up by Friday 14 November, we will provide a small edible treat.

As usual, there will be no coffee morning in December, so our Christmas meal will be the last opportunity to meet fellow members in 2025. We do hope you’ll be able to join us!

We always love to hear from group members with comments, ideas for future events, or just to say hello. Please get in touch at northhampshire@coeliac.org.uk.

Virtual meet up for parents of coeliac children

Virtual

Join Jane and Gemma for an evening meet up for parents of coeliac children who would like to meet other coeliac families.

Email us at northhampshire@coeliac.org.uk to confirm your attendance as well as any suggestions of topics you would like us to discuss. We will send you the link to join the event a few days before the day. Some of the time will be used to share ideas for family events and potentially get some dates scheduled.

The event is open to families with coeliac children who are able to travel to the North Hampshire area for our family meet ups.

Basingstoke coffee morning (November)

Waitrose cafe (Basingstoke)

Fellow group members will be at Waitrose cafe in Basingstoke on 15 November from 10:30. There is a large car park, at the rear with free parking for the first two hours (though you must still get a ticket from the machines).

Basingstoke Railway station is a five-minute walk away.

If you haven't joined us before, look out for at least one member of our committee wearing a bright orange Coeliac UK top.

We hope you can make it.

As always if you have any comments or questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at - NorthHampshire@coeliac.org.uk

Coeliac family Christmas meet up

Atmosphere, Unit B, Daneshill Industrial Estate

Join us for a Christmas meet up for coeliac children and their families. This year we shall be meeting at Atmosphere trampoline park in Basingstoke between 3-4.30pm. The session is open to the general public, so pre booking is essential to secure your place.

To get a small edible gluten free Christmas gift for your children, email us at northhampshire@coeliac.org.uk to confirm you have booked by Friday 14 November.

Our youth coordinator Gemma will be wearing her bright orange coeliac top so you can find her and will be handing out coeliac stickers so that you know who is part of our group.

If you would prefer a shorter jump session (or the 90min session is fully booked), 60min sessions that overlap with the meet up can be booked at 3pm and 3.30pm. The 90min session is £16.50 per person or £10.95 for 60mins (plus £3 for jump socks if you don't have any).

When you book you will be asked to complete a waiver. Bear in mind if you're booking early that the waiver expires after 30 days, so will need to be done closer to the time.

As usual children must be supervised by their responsible adult throughout the event.  Per Atmosphere's rules, children aged 4 must be accompanied on the trampolines. Further details are below and can be found on Atmosphere's website.

For those not local to the area, please bear in mind that there are 2 trampoline parks in Basingstoke. This is the out of town one.

Information from Atmosphere's website

The OPEN JUMP session is open to participants aged 4 and above. If you have a child under 4 who wants to attend this session, you can purchase a Soft Play ticket. Please note the height restrictions: Toddler Zone - under 1m, and Three Tier Zone - under 1m25. Parents must assess their child's ability to use the equipment safely and supervise children aged 4 and under from the court side at all times. Under 4s will have NO access to the trampolines, only the Toddler Zone.

Children aged 4 must be accompanied on court by an adult at all times. The adult doesn’t need to jump but must wear jump socks and have a signed waiver. If the adult wants to jump, a ticket should be purchased.

This event is taking place in lieu of a Christmas party this year as sadly we didn't have enough volunteers to help with organising the event. If you would like to help us bring back our Christmas party next year, please get in touch and we'll contact you in April to arrange a planning call if we have enough volunteers.
