February 2024 - Upcoming events

Coeliac

Pottery painting - Saturday 2 March

Join us at our next family meet up for coeliac children at The Pottery Stable for some pottery painting.  Pricing is based on what you choose to paint, instead of an entry fee, starting at around £13 for a small animal figure, mug or bowl.

When: 2 March at 10:00
Where: Church Brook Farm, Tadley, RG26 4AY

Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event, who are welcome to join in with painting if you would like to!  Your painted pottery will be glazed and ready to collect 1-2 weeks after the event from the venue or we can bring it along to our next event on 20 April for you to collect.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by emailing us at NorthHampshire@coeliac.org.uk by Friday 16 February confirming the number of attendees and how many will be painting. We will reserve your space directly with the venue, so that we all get to sit together. Please note we are restricted on numbers due to the size of the venue, so spaces will be on a first come first served basis.

You can read more about the venue here: https://thepotterystable.weebly.com/

Save the date - Saturday 20 April

We are busy planning our next family event and hope to be able to confirm details by the end of the month, so watch this space!  The plan is for it to take place within 20 miles of Basingstoke and be mainly aimed at children aged up to 11/12, although older children are always welcome to join us (accompanied by a responsible adult).

Coffee morning - 14 February

Join us for our next coffee morning at Waitrose cafe in Basingstoke (RG21 4YY) on Wednesday 14 February from 10:30. There is a large car park, at the rear with free parking for the first two hours (though you must still get a ticket from the machines).

Basingstoke Railway station is a five-minute walk away.

If you haven't joined us before, look out for at least one member of our committee wearing a bright orange Coeliac UK top.

If you can't make this one, our next coffee morning is on Saturday 23 March at the same time and place.
