Event info

The AGM will take no more than 30 minutes giving us plenty of time to enjoy coffee or tea, cake and any other contributions to our Bring and Share, in the company of others who need to live gluten free. Everyone is welcome to attend the event, but only Coeliac UK members are eligible to vote at the AGM.

We will provide tea, coffee and squash and have a table with some board games for any children who come. Please bring something gluten free for our bring and share if you are able. It can be sweet or savory, homemade or shop-bought. To help keep everybody safe please bring a full list of ingredients to display alongside your home-made cakes/bakes. Please bring shop-bought items in their original packaging. Parklife also runs a café which sells drinks and some GF cakes and food.

After the meeting, some of us will go for a walk around the park. If you want to bring your dog, there is a lovely circuit around the park (1 km). Tennis is also available free of charge (6 courts). And there is an option to get some lunch at the café for those who wish to stay on.

Getting to the event

By Bus – Heavitree Park is about 50m from the Heavitree Road which is served by several buses – including the C Park & Ride bus from Sowton P&R and Matford P&R, the 4, 4A and others. There are several buses which take about 10 mins from Exeter.Get off at Butts Rd – 2 min walk, or at Heavitree Co-op – 5 min walk.

By car – just off the main route into Heavitree from Exeter Services.

Parking – On-street parking and it’s free-of-charge at weekends.
