Coeliac disease to be featured on CBBC’s Operation Ouch!

The new series of BBC’s Operation Ouch! is starting on Wednesday 20 September at 5.30pm and will feature four short clips of Coeliac UK case study 11 year old Maisie from Manchester.

The new series of BBC’s Operation Ouch! is starting on Wednesday 20 September at 5.30pm and will feature four short clips of Coeliac UK case study 11 year old Maisie from Manchester.

In addition to appearing in episode 1, Maisie will also be featured in three other episodes throughout the series on CBBC as the programme films her meeting her dietitian, going on a school trip and also at school and discussing her diagnosis of coeliac disease and living on a gluten free diet.

We would like to thank Maisie and her family for agreeing to take part and we hope that the series will help educate children and adults alike. The episodes are repeated at 7.30pm on Wednesdays and will also be available on iPlayer.
