Prepworld recalls fruit products because of possible contamination with Salmonella

Prepworld is recalling several fruit packs after testing identified Salmonella in apple and kiwi used in the products.

The possible presence of Salmonella in the products listed above. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps. If you are experiencing these symptoms, you should stay away from work, school or nursery until you have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others.
Action taken
Prepworld is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notices.

Advice to consumers
If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
