Are you based in Hampshire or surrounding areas?
We’re delighted to announce that Marc Warde will be the guest speaker at the Coeliac UK’s Wessex Local Group AGM this spring.
Marc will be sharing his personal and professional journey in the gluten free world. Following his diagnosis with coeliac disease, he founded @Niche Gluten-free Dining Restaurant the first 100% gluten-free restaurant in the UK, explaining how the restaurant developed through evolution rather than revolution.
His talk will also explore his work in airline and travel catering through Libero Special Meals, developing high-quality meals free from the top 14 allergens for international airlines. Alongside this work, Marc undertook further study in food science and nutrition, which helped expand his work into healthcare and retail.
Marc will also discuss his latest venture helping improve hospital catering through NOOT Food Is Medicine, and how his journey has shaped the brands and projects he now leads.
He’ll reflect on the people and organisations that have influenced his work in the allergy community, including The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, and share his thoughts on the future of the gluten-free community and opportunities within the gluten-free food sector.
Also at the Event
We will have stands selling gluten free products and offering gluten free services, including Beaky Blinders & The Authentic Kitchen – giving you the opportunity to discover new foods, meet suppliers and learn about support available for those living gluten free.
If you know a gluten free supplier interested in exhibiting, please contact Pauline, our group organiser: [email protected]
Everyone is welcome – although only members of Coeliac UK can vote in the AGM
