Become a Gluten Free Diner to help improve our GF accreditation scheme

2 June 2025

Coeliac UK’s Gluten Free accreditation scheme, established in 2012, makes eating out safer and easier for people who need to live gluten free. When you see our GF trademark, it signifies a venue's commitment to gluten free food safety.

Our GF trademark will be displayed in a venue’s windows, on their website or on their menus if they are part of our Gluten Free accreditation scheme.

With over 3,000 Accredited venues in the UK, from chains to independent establishments, our unique scheme allows us to continuously collaborate with our Gluten Free accredited partners to provide a confident dining experience. We are always working to improve the experience of eating out gluten free which is why we run the Gluten Free Diner programme (formerly the Mystery Diner Programme).

If you’re following a gluten free diet, or caring for someone on a gluten free diet, you could support the continued improvement of our GF accreditation scheme by becoming a Gluten Free Diner.

All it takes is completing a short survey just after you’ve eaten out or ordered a takeaway. We’ll ask you about your experience including:

  • Staff knowledge of coeliac disease and gluten free options
  • How clearly gluten free dishes were marked on the menu
  • How well safety procedures were followed
  • Your satisfaction with the gluten free choices available
  • Procedures you observed
  • Your overall dining experience

If you happen to eat out, we’d love to hear about your experience. Your feedback gives us valuable insight into what it’s like to eat out gluten free, whether at one of our GF accredited venues or somewhere else.

If you’re interested in taking part, please visit our website to find out more information. If you would like to recommend a venue to others in the community, you can do so here
