Gower Brewing Ltd is recalling four beers due to undeclared wheat

Gower Brewing Limited is recalling four types of beer as their labels do not declare the presence of wheat malt. Barley is correctly declared on the label so we are bringing this to the attention of anyone with a wheat allergy or intolerance.

Pack size: 500ml bottles & cask
Batch Details: All dates up to and including Best Before End July 2017     

Product: Gower Power (IPA)
Pack size: 500ml bottles & cask
Batch Details: All dates up to and including Best Before End July 2017     

Product: Lighthouse (Lager)
Pack size: 500ml and 330ml bottles & cask
Batch Details: All dates up to and including Best Before End July 2017     

Product: Black Diamond (Porter)
Pack size: 500ml bottles & cask
Batch Details: All dates up to and including Best Before End July 2017

Our advice to consumers

If you have purchased these products and have an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten do not consume it. Instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Action taken by the company

Gower Brewing Ltd has recalled the above-mentioned products and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued point of sale notices to its customers, a copy of which is attached.
