Lidl recalls four varieties of Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks

Lidl is recalling four varieties of its Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks as they contain various allergens which are not legible on the packaging as the ingredient are not written in English. This means the products are a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to soya, an allergy or intolerance to milk or its constituents, an allergy to nuts or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
Only the Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks With Speculoos need to be avoided by people with coeliac disease.

No other Lidl products are known to be affected.
Our advice to customers
If you have bought Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks With Speculoos do not eat it if you have an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
Please return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company
Lidl is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised by the FSA to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members of the recall. The company has also issued point of sale notices in its stores. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
