Quorn recalls Vegetarian Turkey and Stuffing Slices 170g because the product displays and incorrect gluten free claim on the packaging. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease and/or an intolerance to gluten. 

This is an advisory notice that this product contains wheat but a Gluten Free logo is included on pack in error. Wheat is correctly included within the ingredients list and is displayed in bold.

Action taken by the company

Quorn is recalling the above product from customers from Sainsbury's, Booths and Amazon and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have coeliac disease and/or an intolerance to gluten., do not eat it. Instead customers should contact the Quorn Customer Services team on 0345 602 9000 or through the Contact link on the Quorn website, quorn.co.uk for a full refund.
