Mini Tiger Bread Pizza Toasts

A quick and delicious lunch idea using Warburtons Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bread as a tasty pizza base

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Warburtons Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bread 

  • 1 tbsp tomato purée 

  • 1 tsp tomato ketchup *

  • 3 tsp water 

  • ¼ tsp dried mixed herbs 

  • 35g grated cheddar 

  • 35g grated mozzarella 

  • 6 slices of pepperoni 

  • 2 chestnut mushrooms, thinly sliced 

To garnish 

  • A few fresh basil leaves (about 5g)

Method

Sauce it up 

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the tomato purée, ketchup, dried herbs, and water. Give it a good stir until smooth. 

Build your base 

        2. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over each slice of Warburtons Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bread. Top with grated cheddar and mozzarella, then layer on the pepperoni and mushrooms. 

Toast to perfection 

        3. Pop your pizza toasts into an air fryer at 200°C for 3–5 minutes, or bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (200°C fan/Gas 6) for 5–8 minutes—until the cheese is melted and bubbling. 

Finishing touch 

        4. Add a few fresh basil leaves on top, take a bite, and enjoy your mini pizza moment. 

Hints and tips:

If you require both a gluten free and vegetarian and/or vegan diet, why not replace the cheese with a vegan alternative? . You could also use peppers, instead of pepperoni.
