Jam House, Birmingham
I called prior to visiting and they informed me that catering for Coeliacs would be no problem, and just to let them know on arrival. They also said that I could take a roll so I could have bread with the soup. As my group were meeting elsewhere first I handed the bread roll in at the door so I didn't have to carry it around with me. When we finally arrived at the Jam House to eat, our waiter asked which of the group required the gluten free menu and produced one of their normal menus on which had been handwritten which dish was suitable. Even better was the fact that I had quite a varied choice! The food was really lovely and the bread roll was even delivered warm. It was a really lovely experience to find a restaurant that was so accommodating and as I am really quite sensitive to cross-contamination, it was even nicer to be symptom free after the meal.
