Report for Coeliac U.K. Bucks Support Group AGM
Stoke Mandeville Community Centre 30th April 2022
After a long delay due to the COVID pandemic the Bucks Support Group finally managed to hold an AGM at the Stoke Mandeville Community Centre at 2pm on April 30th 2022.
The meeting was preceded by a G/F Fish& Chips lunch at Dobbies Garden Centre in Wendover (formerly Wyevale).
Apologies from 14 members were received, there was a low turn-out, the number of members present did comply with Coeliac U.K. charity rules.
Chairman/Bucks Organiser, Brian Barnes presented his report which covered the period since our last AGM back in 2019. During the early phases of Covid restrictions Brian did host a few Zoom sessions which were well attended and much appreciated by members confined to home.
Brian and the Committee are keen to re activate the regular events organized prior to covid : Coffee Mornings in High Wycombe , Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. The Committee plans to restore some of these events and others later this year, we trust members will be feeling more confident now to support them.
Membership Secretary, Steph Cox did circulate the AGM invitation letter to newly diagnosed Coeliacs registered with Coeliac U.K.
