Sainsbury’s recalls by Sainsbury’s British Lamb Shish Kebabs

Sainsbury’s is recalling its by Sainsbury’s British Lamb Shish Kebabs because a packaging error means some packs contain beef kebabs instead of lamb. As a result, soya and wheat are not mentioned on the packaging.

The product contains soya and wheat making it a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, an allergy or intolerance to wheat and/or an allergy to soya.

Advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have coeliac disease with an allergy or intolerance to wheat and/or an allergy to soya, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company

The company has recalled the product from customers and has also issued a point-of-sale notice.
