Gluten free banana bread

Ingredients

  • 80g butter, cut into 1cm cubes
  • 120g sugar
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 160g gluten free self-raising flour*
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 80g bananas, chopped
  • 10g baking powder*

Method

  1. Place the blade into the bread pan.
  2. Put all of the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed in the ingredients list.
  3. Set the machine to the gluten free cake menu (20) 1 hour 50 mins.
  4. After 2 mins when the beep sounds, scrape any residue from the sides using a rubber spatula.
  5. When the program has finished, remove from the bread pan and allow the cake to cool or serve hot with some ice cream.
  6. Check the cake after 1 hour 10 mins by inserting a skewer into the centre. If it comes out clean remove the cake and allow to cool.
